About PSVTracker
We built the tracker sophisticated investors were missing.
Most personal finance apps were built for checking accounts and index funds. They break the moment your portfolio gets interesting: a syndication here, a private equity position there, a rental property, a crypto allocation, a fund with capital calls and distributions that no spreadsheet formula handles cleanly.
If you've ever tried to answer a simple question, like what's my real return across all of this?, you know the problem. The tools either ignore your alternative assets entirely or hand you a number that doesn't mean anything. No XIRR. No TVPI. No DPI or RVPI. No way to see cost basis, NAV, and equity multiple in one place. Just a balance and a chart.
PSVTracker was built to close that gap.
Why we built it
PSVTracker started where most good products do, with a problem we had ourselves.
Justin Dibs, our founder, spent 25 years building data platforms for entertainment and media companies, the systems that move royalties, payments, and portfolios at scale. He also happened to be exactly the kind of investor the finance apps forgot: real estate, private equity, syndications, public markets, and crypto, all scattered across accounts and spreadsheets, none of it adding up to a clear picture.
The metrics that actually matter to this kind of investing, including XIRR, Cash-on-Cash, Equity Multiple, CAGR, TVPI, DPI, and RVPI, weren't in any consumer tool. So he did the thing he'd done for two decades in the enterprise world: he built the platform to calculate them properly.
What began as a way to understand his own portfolio became something the wider community of investors he knew had been asking for. PSVTracker went into production in 2023.

What we believe
Your data is yours. The only personal information we ask for is an email address, and it's never tied directly to your financial data. Your data is stored anonymously, with its identity encrypted in AWS, and we never sell it. Clarity shouldn't require a spreadsheet, a data analyst, or a private wealth manager. And the investor with a genuinely complex portfolio deserves tools as capable as the ones the institutions use.
That's what we're building: one clear, secure view of everything you own, and the metrics that tell you how it's really performing.
